Project Engineer

Position Summary

This position is responsible for program governance, planning, monitoring, cost control, and execution of EHV/HV transmission EPC projects (UG Cables & Substations). The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant project delivery while coordinating cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Finance, Contracts, and key stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Lead execution of EHV substation and underground cable projects.
• Develop project schedules using tools like Primavera / MS Project.
• Monitor progress and ensure milestone achievement.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and contracts.
• Monitor critical path and implement corrective actions to avoid delays
• Standardize planning templates across projects
• Prepare and control project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost baselines
• Ensure alignment with Cost Excellence frameworks
• Drive risk mitigation strategies and escalation framework.
