Job summary

Nextracker Inc. in Hyderabad is seeking an Assistant Project Engineer to support utility-scale solar PV project design from development through construction. You will collaborate with design and structural engineers to propose optimal layouts and drawings, reporting to the Manager.

Onboarding will be virtual with occasional in-person meetings at Nextpower offices. The role emphasizes AutoCAD drafting, slope analysis, and BOM preparation across global projects, requiring strong CAD detailing

Qualifications

• Through knowledge of AutoCAD 2D commands or any other equivalent CAD environment.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to prepare structural part drawings as per standards.
• At least 2+ years of experience in CAD detailing in construction industry. Experience in solar industry is preferred but not compulsory
• Good knowledge on drafting and detailing standards.
• Very good communication skills.

Job Summary

The Assistant Project Engineer will be based in Hyderabad. Onboarding will be virtual for the time being with occasional socially distanced meetings at a Nextpower office. In this position, you will report to the Manager. The candidate would be working on utility scale solar PV projects located around the globe, right from the development stage to construction support. The candidate will also be working with other design engineers & structural engineers to propose the best possible project design.

• Create AutoCAD layouts for Solar Power Plants using NX tracker design
