About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Design professional with industry experience and a passion for teaching. The ideal candidate should have expertise in retail planning, store design, spatial branding, and customer-centric design solutions. Key Responsibilities:

1) Teaching & Learning

• Teach undergraduate studio courses in Retail Design, Exhibition Design, Spatial Design, and Store Planning.
• Guide students through research, concept development, design detailing, and presentation.
• Mentor students in live projects, internships, and portfolio development.
• Assist in developing and updating curriculum based on industry trends.
• Integrate emerging technologies such as AI, AR/VR, digital retail, and sustainable design into teaching.

2) Research & Industry Engagement

• Participate in research projects and publish academic papers or case studies.
• Coordinate industry visits, workshops, guest lectures, and collaborative projects.
• Build relationships with retail brands and design consultancies.

3) Academic Administration

• Support admissions, assessments, exhibitions, and departmental activities.
• Assist in NAAC/IQAC documentation, accreditation activities, data management, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Participate in outreach, student mentoring, and institutional development.
