Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or Operation Theatre & Anesthesia Technology from a recognized institution.
• Relevant teaching experience in an academic institution and/or clinical experience in a hospital will be preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage classroom and practical training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver theory lectures and practical sessions for OTT/BOTT students.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and examinations.
• Provide hands-on training in OT procedures, surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and infection prevention & control.
• Supervise students during clinical postings, laboratory sessions, and hospital training.
• Assess student performance through practical and theoretical evaluations and maintain academic records, attendance, and logbooks.
• Mentor students and promote professional ethics, discipline, and academic excellence.
• Assist in curriculum development, departmental documentation, accreditation activities, and other academic initiatives.
• Participate in seminars, workshops, research, and faculty development programs as required.
