Job summary

Careerist Management Consultants in Mumbai is seeking a product professional to drive end-to-end product development and portfolio management, coordinating with suppliers and preparing PRDs, specs, and benchmarks while tracking timelines and launches.

You will maintain documentation, BOMs, certifications, and compliance records; conduct market research, monitor trends, and identify SDA category opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end product lifecycle management from concept to launch.
• Coordinate with suppliers.
• Prepare PRDs, technical specs, and feature benchmarking.
• Track product development timelines and ensure timely launches.
• Maintain product documentation, BOMs, certifications, and compliance records.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer preferences.
• Identify gaps and opportunities within the SDA category.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to drive product improvements.
• Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers.
• Evaluate new sourcing opportunities and product innovations.
• Support vendor negotiations on pricing, specifications, and delivery schedules.
• Work with quality teams to ensure product compliance and reliability.
• Assist in product launch planning and go-to-market activities.
• Develop product positioning, USP communication, and sales tools.
• Coordinate creation of packaging, catalogues, manuals, and digital content.
• Conduct product training for sales and customer service teams.
