Job summary

KSB Company is seeking a candidate with strong knowledge of valve technology to manage configurator tasks effectively.

The role involves transferring product requirements into data models, maintaining modules in KM2002, and implementing price rules. Applicants should have an ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Execution of necessary input work for configurators.
• Transfer product requirements to the KSBase configurator.
• Coordinate timely provision of qualitative data for new product implementation.
• Model non-technical head modules in KM2002.
• Maintain technical and non-technical head modules in KM2002.
• Create spare part placeholders in parts list of configured product.
• Carry out integrational tests before new configurator release.
• Implement/update price rules and grades of completeness in KM2002.

Skills

High knowledge of valves technology

Knowledge of KSB configurators (EasySelect and KSBase)

Job description

Scope Of Work

• Execution of the necessary input work for configurators including
• Responsible for transferring the product requirements to the data model of the KSBase configurator over the entire product life cycle (SAP / KM2002).
• Coordination for in time provision of qualitative data in case of new product implementation, expansion and maintenance of products in KSB configurator (ex. EasySelect, KSBase, etc.) with full independency.
• Modelling of non-technical head modules in KM2002 (needs valve and product knowledge)
• Maintenance of technical and non-technical head modules in KM2002 (needs valve and product knowledge)
• Creation of spare part placeholders in the parts list of the configured product with KM2002
• Recurring technical modelling tasks in KM2002
• Implementing/updating price rules in KM2002
• Implementing/updating grades of completeness in KM2002
• Preparation of test cases and carry out of integrational tests before the release of a new configurator (needs valve and product knowledge)
• Implementing the type-series-specific value restriction in SAP P14; transaction PDN
• Creation and maintenance of Type series concept (TSC) for product implementation in EasySelect (needs valve and product knowledge)
• EasySelect Issue-Management (needs valve and product knowledge) [JIRA]

Skills

• High knowledge of valves technology and willingness to familiarise yourself with the KSB valve range.
• Knowledge of the KSB configurators (EasySelect and KSBase).
• Basic knowledge of SAP, KM2002, Simus ClassMate and Atlassian JIRA (a bug-tracking, issue-tracking and project-management software application).
• Good communication skills and intercultural competence.
• English fluently spoken and written.
