Job summary

Safari Kid is seeking an Assistant Preschool Teacher to support lead teachers in delivering developmentally appropriate activities for young children.

You'll assist with lesson planning, classroom management, and parent communication, while helping create a safe, engaging learning environment. This role emphasizes teamwork, child-centered care, and professional growth opportunities within a growing international network.

Qualifications

• Education- preferably certified in early years education.
• Experience - Internships or 0 to 1+ years’ experience required in pre-primary teaching.
• Skills- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, team player, Cool-tempered and positive attitude, firm but kind personality, enthusiastic.

Responsibilities

• Help students adjust, learn and socialize and report to teachers about possible behavioral issues outcome goals, implementing and supervising into daily classroom practice.
• Assist lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, informing parents of their children’s progress and other activities.
• Help to create a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Assist with daily classroom management, including guiding children in following routines, managing transitions, and addressing behavioral issues.
• Provide a warm and caring presence for children and build positive relationships with them and their families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development training as required.
• Passion for working with young children and helping them learn and grow.
• Engaging in active play with children.
• Be accessible and available as a point of contact for parents. Actively communicating with team members and creating an inclusive environment for the staff, students and parents.
