Qualifications

• Manufacturing industry experience required.
• CA/CWA qualification is mandatory.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience required in a manufacturing setup.

Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting activities including journal entries and month-end close.
• Oversee accounts payable operations ensuring timely invoices and supplier payments.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare schedules for auditors.
• Implement and monitor financial controls and cost-controlling measures.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies; prepare MIS and variance analysis.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.

Assistant Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing general accounting functions, managing accounts payable processes, and ensuring effective financial controls. The role requires strong expertise in auditing, financial compliance, and cost control to support the organization’s financial health.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and supervise General Accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) operations, ensuring timely processing of invoices and vendor payments.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
• Handle audits (internal & external), including preparation of schedules and coordination with auditors
• Monitor and implement financial controls and cost-controlling measures.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and review financial reports, MIS, and variance analysis.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
