Orcapod Consulting Services in Pune, Maharashtra seeks a CMA/CA with 5–8 years of experience in financial controlling. The role focuses on plant P&L management, inventory, scrap, and claims within a Tier 1 environment.

You will implement and monitor financial procedures, lead budgeting and forecasting, and drive cost optimization through in-depth analyses and data validation across business units.

Qualifications

• CMA/CA with 5–8 years in financial controlling and hands-on experience managing plant environment and plant P&L, scrap, inventory, and claims in a Tier 1 organization.
• Proficiency in SAP FICO and good understanding of IT systems and industrial financial flows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CFO and regional controllers on RMC, inventory, plant capacity, claims, and cash planning.
• Develop and monitor financial procedures to ensure compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasts, and financial reporting to maintain accuracy and deadlines.
• Conduct deep-dive financial analyses, simulations, and variance analyses to identify cost savings.
• Gather, verify, and validate financial data with business units.
• Oversee cash flow management, including capex, inventory, and backlogs.
• Contribute to business planning and variance analysis for performance improvement.
• Partner with BU controllers to create action plans that improve financial performance.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with CFO & respective regional controllers in the areas of RMC, inventory management, plant capacity utilization, customer claims, manufacturing new footprint assessment and proposals, cash etc.
• Financial Compliance & Control: Develop, implement, and monitor financial procedures to ensure full compliance.
• Financial Forecasting & Reporting: Manage budget planning, periodic forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to deadlines.
• Business Analysis & Cost Optimization: Conduct deep-dive financial analyses, simulations, and variance assessments to identify revenue leakages and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaboration & Data Validation: Work closely with business units to gather, verify, and validate financial data.
• Cash Flow Management: Consolidate and oversee operational cash flow, including capital expenditure, inventory, and backlogs.
• Business Planning & Variance Analysis: Contribute to the business plan validation process, ensuring proper consolidation and variance analysis.
• Strategic Action Planning: Partner with BU controllers to develop and track action plans that enhance financial performance, optimize cash flow, and drive productivity improvements.
• Performance Monitoring: Ensure continuous tracking of financial impact and progress of implemented action plans.

Job Specifications

Qualification: CMA / CA with 5-8 years of experience in financial controlling with hands-on exp of managing plant environment & plant P&L, understanding of scrap, inventory, claims etc from Tier 1 organsation.
