Job summary

Sika in Chennai, India is seeking a technically driven professional to drive product approval for admixtures, support sales with field demonstrations and optimize concrete mix designs. You will work with customers, laboratories, and the sales team to ensure products meet performance requirements.

Responsibilities include designing mixes, conducting lab tests on concrete, aggregates and cement, documenting results, troubleshooting issues, and providing site-based technical support to customers

• Product approval of new & existing customers leading to sales growth
• Understand and align product development as per customer requirement
• Mix designs as per customer requirements.
• Conduct Laboratory testing relating to Concrete, Aggregates, and Cement.
• Record, analyse, certify and prepare summaries of findings and maintain records of the results.
• Troubleshoot to determine reasons for problems of complaints.
• Provide technical support to customers /contractors on site.
• Engage into Product demonstration & testing
• Provide support to Sales team to conduct trials at site.
• Stay abreast of market trends as well as changes in market and competitive landscape and initiate necessary actions

Overview

To obtain the most suitable Sika admixture approved with Sika customers, such as ready-mix concrete producers, contractors, precast producers etc. In case, standard admixtures do not meet the customer requirements, suggest suitable modifications in the concrete mix design or as a last option do modifications in the admixture formulation to meet the concrete requirements.
