Job summary

Accor in India seeks an experienced Security Supervisor to oversee daily security operations, protect guests and assets, and lead a vigilant security team across the property. You will monitor surveillance systems, manage access control, conduct risk assessments and coordinate with local authorities to respond to incidents while maintaining impeccable service standards.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, conducting patrols, reporting incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety

Qualifications

• 3–5 years security experience, luxury/hospitality preferred.
• Proven supervision or management of security teams.
• Knowledge of security systems, access control and cameras.
• Crisis management and incident response skills.
• Understanding of health & safety and hotel SOPs.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
• Valid security licence/certification per local laws.
• Excellent communication with law enforcement and services.

Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Oversee daily security operations and maintain a safe environment for guests, staff, and property assets
• Supervise and train security personnel, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry best practices
• Monitor surveillance systems, access control points, and security equipment to identify potential vulnerabilities
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns whilst maintaining professional composure
• Conduct regular security patrols throughout the property, including guest areas, back-of-house, and perimeter zones
• Prepare comprehensive incident reports and maintain detailed security documentation for management review
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical situations
• Conduct security risk assessments and recommend preventative measures to enhance property protection
• Ensure compliance with all security protocols, safety regulations, and hotel standard operating procedures
• Manage access control systems, key distribution, and visitor management procedures
• Provide security briefings and updates to senior management and relevant departments
• Investigate security breaches, theft, or suspicious activities and implement corrective actions
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive security matters and guest information

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional security experience, preferably in a luxury hospitality or high-end property environment
• Proven supervisory or management experience with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate security teams
• Strong knowledge of security systems, access control technologies, and surveillance equipment
• Excellent incident response and crisis management capabilities with sound decision-making under pressure
• Comprehensive understanding of security protocols, health and safety regulations, and hotel operational standards
• Proficiency in security documentation, report writing, and record-keeping procedures
• Valid security licence or certification as required by local and national regulations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with law enforcement and emergency services
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
