Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in India seeks a Certified Scaffolding Supervisor to manage scaffolding, cleaning, and site access operations. You will plan micro-scopes, oversee erection, inspection, and dismantling, and ensure compliance with SWA standards and ISO quality rules.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor in Engineering and a CISRS-style certification, with proven leadership in industrial environments and a strong focus on safety and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Supervise and manage scaffolding operations across erection, modification, inspection and dismantling as per SWA/SW/WI/09.
• Enforce safety, quality and ISO standards across all scaffolding activities.
• Lead cleaning operations per SWA/SW/WI/10 and coordinate with other trades.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the lifecycle of scaffolds, staging, and access towers from erection to dismantling.
• Verify proper Scaffold Tags and ensure daily/weekly inspections by certified inspectors.
• Develop micro-plans for scaffolding and cleaning aligned with GPS and manage manpower and materials.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Scaffolding Management

Control and supervise the entire lifecycle of all scaffolds, staging, and access towers: Erection, Modification, Inspection, and Dismantling activities as per the approved Safe Work Procedure (SWA/SW/WI/09) and relevant standards.

• Scaffolding Safety & Certification

Ensure that only certified Scaffolding teams perform work. Verify that correct Scaffold Tags (Green/Red) are used and ensure daily/weekly inspections are performed, documented, and approved by a certified inspector.

• Cleaning Operations

Supervise the execution of various industrial cleaning processes, as per SWA/SW/WI/10.

• Resource & Production Control

Develop detailed micro-plans for Scaffolding and Cleaning work based on the General Production Schedule (GPS). Organize and manage manpower, material, and equipment to ensure timely provision of access and cleanliness for all other trades.

• Safety and QHSE Compliance

Enforce strict compliance with QHSE rules, especially concerning Working at Height. Ensure all operations adhere to company policies and ISO quality standards.

• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical or Civil,) from a recognized institution.
• Certifications Mandatory: Certified Scaffolding Supervisor/Inspector (e.g., CISRS or equivalent national/international standard).
