Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a Scaffolding Supervisor/Inspector to manage the complete lifecycle of scaffolding, from erection to dismantling, while ensuring safety, tagging, and inspections are properly performed. The role also covers cleaning operations and strict adherence to QHSE standards.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Engineering and a CISRS or equivalent certification, with experience in generating micro-plans and coordinating resources for timely access and site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Certified Scaffolding Supervisor/Inspector (CISRS or equivalent).
• Experience with lifecycle of scaffolding including erection, inspection and dismantling.
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards and QHSE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scaffolding lifecycle: erection, modification, inspection and dismantling.
• Ensure only certified scaffolding teams work and verify scaffold tags.
• Supervise cleaning operations per SWA/SW/WI/10.
• Develop micro-plans for scaffolding and cleaning per GPS and manage resources.
• Enforce QHSE rules and height-safety policies in all operations.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Scaffolding Management

Control and supervise the entire lifecycle of all scaffolds, staging, and access towers: Erection, Modification, Inspection, and Dismantling activities as per the approved Safe Work Procedure (SWA/SW/WI/09) and relevant standards.

• Scaffolding Safety & Certification

Ensure that only certified Scaffolding teams perform work. Verify that correct Scaffold Tags (Green/Red) are used and ensure daily/weekly inspections are performed, documented, and approved by a certified inspector.

• Cleaning Operations

Supervise the execution of various industrial cleaning processes, as per SWA/SW/WI/10.

• Resource & Production Control

Develop detailed micro-plans for Scaffolding and Cleaning work based on the General Production Schedule (GPS). Organize and manage manpower, material, and equipment to ensure timely provision of access and cleanliness for all other trades.

• Safety and QHSE Compliance

Enforce strict compliance with QHSE rules, especially concerning Working at Height. Ensure all operations adhere to company policies and ISO quality standards.

• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical or Civil,) from a recognized institution.
• Certifications Mandatory: Certified Scaffolding Supervisor/Inspector (e.g., CISRS or equivalent national/international standard).
