Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a qualified Scaffolding Supervisor/Inspector to oversee the complete lifecycle of scaffolding, access towers, and cleaning operations. You will ensure only certified teams work on site, verify scaffold tags, and supervise inspections per SWA/SW/WI/09 and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all scaffolding activities from erection to dismantling per SWA/SW/WI/09 and industry standards.
• Ensure only certified scaffolding teams perform work and that scaffold tags are correctly used and inspected.
• Oversee cleaning operations in accordance with SWA/SW/WI/10 and safety protocols.
• Develop micro-plans for scaffolding and cleaning, organizing manpower, materials and equipment.
• Enforce QHSE rules, especially working at height, with ISO quality standards.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Scaffolding Management

Control and supervise the entire lifecycle of all scaffolds, staging, and access towers: Erection, Modification, Inspection, and Dismantling activities as per the approved Safe Work Procedure (SWA/SW/WI/09) and relevant standards.

• Scaffolding Safety & Certification

Ensure that only certified Scaffolding teams perform work. Verify that correct Scaffold Tags (Green/Red) are used and ensure daily/weekly inspections are performed, documented, and approved by a certified inspector.

• Cleaning Operations

Supervise the execution of various industrial cleaning processes, as per SWA/SW/WI/10.

• Resource & Production Control

Develop detailed micro-plans for Scaffolding and Cleaning work based on the General Production Schedule (GPS). Organize and manage manpower, material, and equipment to ensure timely provision of access and cleanliness for all other trades.

• Safety and QHSE Compliance

Enforce strict compliance with QHSE rules, especially concerning Working at Height. Ensure all operations adhere to company policies and ISO quality standards.

Qualifications

• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical or Civil,) from a recognized institution.
• Certifications Mandatory: Certified Scaffolding Supervisor/Inspector (e.g., CISRS or equivalent national/international standard).
