Job summary

Premier Solar Systems in Tirupati invites an EHS professional to implement and monitor EMS per ISO 14001 and ensure APPCB compliance and consents renewals. You will maintain records, coordinate audits related to waste management, water treatment, and air emissions, and oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal.

You will develop and enforce safety policies and SOPs across manufacturing areas, conduct risk assessments (JSA, HIRA), organize safety inspections and trainings, and support ISO

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor environmental management systems (EMS) as per ISO 14001.
• Ensure compliance with pollution control board norms (APPCB) and handle renewals of environmental consents (CTE/CTO).
• Maintain records and coordinate for audits related to waste management, water treatment, and air emissions.
• Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal as per legal requirements.
• Develop and enforce safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all manufacturing areas (Cell, Module, Utilities, etc.).
• Conduct risk assessments (JSA, HIRA) and ensure mitigation plans are implemented.
• Monitor occupational health programs, emergency preparedness, and first aid facilities.
• Organize periodic safety inspections, internal audits, and safety committee meetings.
• Conduct regular EHS training and safety drills for employees and contractors.
• Drive employee engagement programs such as Safety Week, Environment Day, etc.
• Maintain all statutory documentation and coordinate with local authorities for inspections.
• Prepare and submit monthly EHS performance reports, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Support ISO audits (45001/14001) and internal EHS performance reviews.
