Job summary

CIRCOR International, Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager in Coimbatore to lead the QMS, QA, QC, and supplier quality across valve and flow-control products for Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemical and Chemical sectors.

You will drive continual improvement and ensure conformity to customer specs and standards. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgical Engineering and 10–15+ years in QM with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in Quality Management within Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemical, Chemical, Valve Manufacturing, or EPC industries.
• Minimum 5 years in a Quality Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgical Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 compliant Integrated Management Systems.
• Develop quality policies, SOPs, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Quality Plans.
• Lead internal, customer, certification, and supplier audits.
• Monitor quality KPIs and implement continual improvement initiatives.
• Manage CAPA, NCRs, customer complaints, and warranty investigations; implement Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, 8D, and RCA.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Manager is responsible for leading the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring products consistently meet customer requirements, international standards, and statutory regulations. The role provides leadership for Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Supplier Quality, Welding Quality, NDT, Product Certification, Customer Audits, and Continuous Improvement across manufacturing operations for control valves, desuperheaters, pressure regulators, and related flow-control products serving Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemical, and Chemical industries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Management System -

Lead and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 compliant Integrated Management Systems.Develop quality policies, SOPs, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Quality Plans.Lead internal, customer, certification, and supplier audits.Monitor quality KPIs and implement continual improvement initiatives.

Quality Assurance -

Ensure compliance with customer specifications, project ITP’s, engineering drawings, and applicable codes.Review continual improvement activities, process improvement documentation and quality records.Manage CAPA, NCRs, customer complaints, and warranty investigations.Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis.

Quality Control -

Manage inspection activities including:Incoming Material InspectionIn-Process Inspection, Final Inspection, Pre-Dispatch Inspection, Monitor machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, calibration, pressure testing, coating / painting, preservation, and final release.

Welding & NDT -

Responsible for WPS / PQR / WPQ approvals, Welding inspections, Weld mapping and repair approvals, Heat treatment monitoring, VT, PT, MT, RT, UT, PMI, Ferrite & Hardness Testing, Compliance with ASME Section IX and ASNT SNT-TC-1A / ISO 9712

Supplier Quality –

ManagingSupplier qualification and audits, Supplier performance monitoring, Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR), Material traceability verification, EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 certification compliances

Customer Inspection & Documentation -

Coordinate inspections with customers and third-party agencies including TÜV, DNV, SGS, BV, ABS, Lloyd's Register, and Intertek.

Review and approve

Manufacturing Record Books (MRB), Quality Dossiers, Material Test Certificates, Inspection Reports, NDT Reports, Hydro & Pneumatic Test Certificates, Calibration Certificates, Certificates of Compliance, Final Documentation Packages

Codes & Technical Standards

Familiar to interpret ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, API 598, API 6D, API 607, API 624, API 641, ASME B16.34, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME Section II, V, VIII & IX, ANSI/FCI 70-2, IEC 60534, PED 2014/68/EU, CE, SIL (IEC 61508 / IEC 61511)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgical Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience

• 10–15+ years in Quality Management within Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemical, Chemical, Valve Manufacturing, or EPC industries.
• Minimum 5 years in a Quality Manager or equivalent leadership role.
