Gold Plus Glass Industry is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee the WHRS Power Plant operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance. You will coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams to maximize availability and generation.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, implementing improvements, enforcing safety standards and PTW/LOTO, planning maintenance, and driving cost optimisation while maintaining regulatory compliance and incident-free

Responsibilities

• Serve as the in-charge of the Operation WHRS Power Plant.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation of the WHRS Power Plant.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation departments to achieve maximum plant availability and generation.
• Monitor plant performance parameters, identify improvement opportunities, and implement measures to enhance reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
• Ensure adherence to all safety standards, environmental regulations, PTW (Permit-to-Work), LOTO, and company policies.
• Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, breakdown maintenance, annual shutdowns, and major overhauls.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews, incident investigations, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to minimize recurring failures and operational losses.
• Manage resource utilization, contractor performance.
• Maintain effective coordination regarding plant performance, maintenance planning, safety matters, and operational requirements.
• Ensure optimum inventory management of critical spares, consumables, and maintenance resources.
• Review and approve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operational and maintenance reports for submission to the reporting manager and management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.

Job description
