Job summary

Hind Terminals Pvt Ltd in Delhi seeks an Individual Contributor to support Rail Operations. The role focuses on managing pan-India rake movements, timely placement at ICDs and ports, and coordinating with Railways, ICD teams and pool partners to ensure smooth operations.

You will compile daily operational reports, track wagon days, and liaise with Sales, CSU, Accounts, and Delhi Operations to resolve queries and improve turnaround times.

• Coordinate with CSU / Marketing Team for timely rail out of the containers.
• Inventory management of the twist locks.
• Tracking and planning of All HTPL Rakes.
• Ensure timely movement of Power packs from Port to ICD.

Job description

The individual will support entire Rail Operations at Delhi and will administrate smooth running of HTPL rakes across Pan India and have smooth Inter-personal relations with ICD, Port Team, Pool Partners & Indian Railways personals.This position will work as part of Rail operations. Specifically, this position will be responsible to manage timely running of the rakes on Pan India Basis, timely placement of the rakes at ICD & Ports, coordinating with ICD/Railways for faster turnaround of the rakes. Timely submission of operational reports to Delhi office on day-to-day basis & reconciliation of wagon days with pool partners.This incumbent will partner and support the Sales, CSU, Accounts, ICD, Port & Delhi Operations Team in resolving customer query, timely running of the rakes, Road movement of Import containers from Patli/MBV to Palwal, resolving issues related to GST mismatch in RRs.

Key Result Areas

• Smooth running of rakes on Pan India Basis, stabling enroute if any should be brought to the notice of GM-Operations immediately.
• Rake Planning based on available pendency.
• Liason with ICD Operation Team, for timely release of the rakes & timely movement of Twist locks.
• Coordination with HCPL for the movement of EXIM containers by road from Patli & MBV to Palwal within free days from the date of offloading.
• Follow up for the DVS units with Railways officials.

Key Performance Indicators

• Tracking of all rakes from FOIS thrice a day at 0900 hrs ,16 hrs & 2100 hrs and in case of any enroute stabling same should be brought to the notice of GM-Operations immediately.
• Ensure rake planning is done and circulated to Operation and commercial team on daily basis at 1600 hrs.
• Ensure all rakes are released 4 hrs in advance before loading completion at all terminals and ports. Coordination with Narayan logistics for the movement of twist locks from ICD to port depending on the requirement and availability.
• Ensure all Import containers are moved within free time from the CRT and ICD to its final destination to avoid any kind of PGR, demurrage & wharfage.
• Ensure DVS units are moved within 48 hrs to the workshop for repair from the date of detachment from its mother rake.
