Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer for automotive EV domain. You will ensure in-process quality, lead audits, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

The role requires 6–8 years of experience in PCB assembly, electrical testing, and strong knowledge of ISO/IATF, MPPAP, FMEA, and 8D problem solving. Hands-on with oscilloscope and metrology tools is essential.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical & Electronics or ECE with 6–8 years in automotive QA.
• Experience with PCB assembly process and vehicle electrical architecture.
• Familiar with MPPAP, SPC, ISO/IATF standards and 8D problem solving.
• Hands-on with testing instruments and end-of-line test development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure in-process QA and adherence to SOPs.
• Coordinate with field team for customer complaint resolution (Zero and 1 - MIS).
• Lead process, product, and layer audits (QMS compliance).
• Drive continuous improvement and effective resolution of routine quality issues.

Job description

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

• Should have experience on Power pack,Power electronics/Electrical components (Ex- PCB, Wire harness, BMS, Cell, Rellays & diods,and its process validation
• Experience in Quality assurance activities like Zero defect stages & Poka yoke implementation.
• Ensure in-process quality assurance checks run as per the procedure laid down in respective SOPs,
• Familiarity with MPPAP, FMEA, Control plan, MSA & SPC.
• Daily internal rejection monitoring & initiate appropriate corrective measures.
• Co-ordinate with field/application team to address customer complaint resolution.(Zero and 1 -MIS)
• Should be familiar with Process audit, Product audit, Layer audit, etc
• Adhere to laid down QMS, its effective implementation and facilitate continuous improvement in all manufacturing area activities, and effective resolution of routine quality issues.
• Should have Knowledge in SPC & Structured problem solving methedologies - 8D, QC story, read & understand engineering drawings & rejection analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO/IATF documents.
