Job summary

Amor Management Consultants in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned manufacturing engineer to lead in-house Auto Winding production, testing, and motor assembly, ensuring quality and process consistency across stages including VPI and baking.

You will drive LEAN initiatives, implement MES and SAP/ERP integration, develop SOPs, manage NCRs, and lead 5S, Kaizen, and line balancing efforts while maintaining compliance with audits and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with 5S, LEAN, Kaizen and line balancing.
• Hands-on SAP/ERP and MES systems experience.
• Proficiency with quality tools: 8D, RCA, PDCA, PFMEA, SPC, MSA.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-house Auto Winding production, testing and motor assembly.
• Lead rejection control at NVH End-of-Line and drive corrective actions.
• Implement 5S and LEAN projects to optimize processes.
• Develop and implement software logic for digital manufacturing systems (e.g., MES).

Role & responsibilities

• Ensuring In-house Auto Winding Production, Process and Quality.
• Responsible for Auto Winding, Connection, Testing, VPI, Baking and motor Assembly.
• Rework Clearance.
• Implementing and leading 5-S and LEAN projects for process.
• Ensuring Winding Process with high standards of Quality and Production.
• Implementing best practices to Reduce Rejection --- Enhancing Coil Making, Winding production.
• Leading the Assembly of induction motors.
• Establish SOPs.
• Maintain Standard Winding Practices.
• Oversee motor and drivetrain manufacturing including gear sub-assembly, differential assembly, and NVH testing.
• Lead rejection control at NVH End-of-Line (EOL) and implement corrective actions.
• Apply MOST, LEAN, and Work Study techniques to optimize work content and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Develop and implement software logic for digital manufacturing systems (e.g., MES).
• Ensure compliance with BBS, IATF, EHS-OHSAS audits and drive closure of observations.
• In-process manufacturing expertise (motor, drivetrain, NVH testing).
• SAP / ERP hands-on experience must.
• Quality tools: 8D, RCA, PDCA, PFMEA, SPC, MSA.
• SOP creation, Kaizen, 5S, Line balancing.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in digital transformation and MES system.
