Job summary

FABINDIA LIMITED in India seeks a Senior Executive MIS – Planning and Monitoring to coordinate data sourcing, build dashboards, and monitor sales, stock trends, and KPIs for business performance.

You will collaborate with IT, Product, Retail, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to standardize reports, deliver timely insights, and support strategic initiatives. 5–6 years of experience in Retail/E-commerce MIS is preferred; strong Excel and PowerPoint, data mining/analytics required.

Qualifications

• Excellent Excel (advanced) and good Power Point skills.
• Data Mining and Data Analytics skills (comfortable working on huge volumes of data)
• Knowledge of Retail & E-commerce P&L and Key Performance Metrics for all functions like Sales, Product/ category, Supply Chain, Marketing, E-comm etc.
• Preferably multi-category Retail and F&B experience

Responsibilities

• Create templates and formats required for collecting information and data for annual planning, performance monitoring and reporting
• Gather or download data from relevant departmental SPOCs or Management Information Systems and data cleaning/ sanity check
• Develop management dashboard and reports to track the progress of all functions against Annual Business Plan, Departmental Plans and initiatives across the Organization in line with defined monitoring mechanisms
• Ensure timely and accurate production of all performance and monitoring reports
• Analyze business performance data and metrics to track progress against agreed targets
• Support the monthly monitoring of HOD KRAs and key business priorities by collating and presenting the information in a timely manner
• Coordinate/ liaise with IT, Product Team, Markets, Supply Chain, Finance etc. for streamlining and standardizing reports/ dashboards for consistency, accuracy and removing duplications

Senior Executive MIS – Planning and Monitoring

Reporting to

Role in Organization

• Coordinate/ liaise with relevant stakeholders within the organization for sourcing, cleaning and compiling data (e.g. IT, Product Team, Retail, Digital, Supply Chain, Finance etc.)
• Create, share and maintain Retail Dashboards, Reports, Action Trackers, as required by Management for Biz performance monitoring and evaluation
• Analysis of Sales, Stock trends, other KPIs and sharing insights. Identification of gaps/ deviation from norm/ benchmark, taking up and escalation to relevant stakeholders for intervention
• Support the Head Strategy & Planning in project Management of implementation of strategic/ tactical initiatives, biz performance monitoring and control

Experience

• 5-6 years of experience in Retail (brand)/ E-commerce and/ or Retail Consulting with core being MIS/ analytics.

Monitoring [80% time allocation]

Process Compliance [10% time allocation]

• Monitor Process Compliance for select critical processes identified in the scope by ongoing monitoring and measurement of Process, KPIs and Milestones

Project Management [10% time allocation]

• Coordination with the Task Force Team members/ SPOCs for creation of detailed Gantt Chart for all critical projects covering:
• Upto L3 level steps (task level)
• Timelines
• Ownership
• Reporting/ output Formats
• Daily/ periodic monitoring and tracking of Gantt Chart progress as per plan
• Identification of risks/ issues which could delay the projects and bring it up to Project Head for mitigation/ resolution
• Managing escalations to senior management on potential risks/ issues/ delays or to seek their intervention/ decision
