Sangam Milk Producer Company is seeking an Assistant Manager Milk Procurement to drive procurement targets and build strong relationships with farmers across the assigned zone. The role requires strong negotiation, team leadership, and travel across rural areas to ensure timely milk collection.

Candidates should possess 8–10 years of milk procurement experience and relevant degrees; MBA in agribusiness is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master-level degrees in agriculture, dairy, or agribusiness-related fields.
• MBA/PGDM in Agribusiness or Rural Management is an added advantage.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in milk procurement, with potential for senior cadre consideration.

Responsibilities

• Achieve daily and monthly milk procurement targets across the assigned zone.
• Develop and maintain relationships with dairy farmers, FPOs, and farmer groups.
• Expand milk procurement networks, MCCs, and BMCs.
• Monitor milk quality, procurement costs, and transportation efficiency.
• Lead and monitor field procurement teams.
• Coordinate with Animal Husbandry, veterinary services, AI, fodder development, and cattle feed teams.
• Prepare procurement MIS reports and implement strategies to improve milk collection.
• Ensure farmer retention, procurement budget control, and operational efficiency.

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in milk procurement, based on relevant experience consider for ZM or Deputy manager cadre.
