Job summary

Virginia Transformer India (VTI) seeks an experienced Assistant Manager – Mechanical Engineering to lead the mechanical engineering team. You will drive technical coordination, design reviews, and ensure timely delivery of engineering projects within our manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of relevant experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in team building, execution, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
• Track project progress and address delays or technical challenges.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency and productivity.
• Implement best practices and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and organizational processes.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for technical issues.
