Responsibilities

Non-Negotiable Skills :

Valuations, financial modelling, DCF modelling, understanding all financial statements, extreme model building, auditing of models, thorough review of models, financial modelling in Excel, formulas, building models from scratch, and performing DCF valuation is mandatory.

In this role, you will be responsible for the financial assessment, structuring, and execution of complex investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a rare combination of high-level financial modelling expertise, deep capital structure knowledge, and the strategic acumen to manage stakeholder relationships.

What Youll Do :

• Financial Modeling & Valuation : Lead the development, maintenance, and review of complex financial models, with a specific focus on project finance valuation models, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning.
• Investment Structuring : Analyze and advise on the optimal capital structure for investments, demonstrating a deep understanding of how different instruments perform, including convertibles, straight equity, shareholder loans, and mezzanine debt.
• Due Diligence : Support the end-to-end investment process, including market research, commercial due diligence, and risk assessment.
• Reporting & Presentations : Synthesize complex data into clear, concise investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
• Stakeholder Management : Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external partners, leveraging excellent communication skills to build relationships and drive transactions forward.

What Youll Bring (Qualifications & Experience) :

• Education : Post-qualification degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation (International curriculum strongly preferred).
• Experience : 3 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial services. Prior experience within a top-tier consulting firm, leading financial institution, or a global support/captive centre is highly desirable.
• Technical Mastery : Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrable experience building models from scratch and auditing complex spreadsheets.
• Industry Knowledge : Proven track record in project finance, infrastructure, or energy sectors is a significant advantage.
• Soft Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; a natural ability to build rapport and manage expectations with diverse stakeholders.
