Job summary

Space Matrix is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor (Workplace) to join our team. You will oversee cost management across all project phases, drive tendering strategy, and ensure financial control for corporate interior fit-out projects.

Bring 4–8 years of QS experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management to help deliver profitable, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Conduct periodic financial reviews, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.

About The Role

We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor (Workplace) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the entire cost management process across all project phases — from pre-tender to execution. You will be responsible for driving tendering strategy, ensuring cost optimization, maintaining financial control, and upholding documentation and compliance standards. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in ensuring commercial efficiency, project profitability, and alignment with organizational objectives.

What We’re Looking For

• A qualified QS professional with 4 to 8 years of experience in the building and construction industry.
• Proven expertise in corporate/workplace interior fit-out projects, with strong commercial and technical understanding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Sound knowledge of trades, materials, and subcontractor management relevant to interior fit-outs.
• Proficiency with digital tools, cost management software, and reporting platforms.
• Ability to work teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and thrive in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a focus on value creation and client satisfaction.
