Job summary

NS Raghavan Centre for EntrepreneurialLearning (NSRCEL) at IIM Bangalore invites a seasoned fundraising professional to join its startup hub. You will turn donor priorities into compelling proposals, build partnerships, and coordinate with programme, finance, M&E, and leadership teams to advance mission-aligned opportunities.

You will manage a portfolio of donors from outreach through renewal, identify target partners, prepare pitches, and ensure adherence to guidelines.

Qualifications

• MBA, CA or post-graduate from a Tier1 institution with 4+ years of experience.
• Understand the entrepreneurial ecosystem in India, have a passion for the science of entrepreneurship.
• Be experienced in fundraising, business development and engagement management with Fortune 500 corporates, foundations, philanthropy and Government.
• Excellent attention to detail in writing, numbers and formatting.
• Possess executive-level communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute fundraising activities including identifying target partners, initiating contact, pitch presentations and proposals, and negotiating partnership agreements.
• Research and understand donor priorities, funding guidelines, budgets, compliance environment and decision process.
• Use consultative conversations to uncover donor goals and match them to the NSRCEL’s programs.
• Work with programme, finance, M&E, communications and leadership teams to gather inputs and align with donor’smission.
• Independently manage a portfolio of small-ticket donors from first contact through renewal.

Whatyou will be doing

Turndonor priorities into compelling, on-brand proposals and close partnerships.Understand donor needs, translate this into pitch decks, concept notes andproposals. Build relationships with internal stakeholders to enrich proposalsand pitches.
