Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional with 2–3 years of machine shop experience to support production quality and process improvement. The role emphasizes OEE enhancement, PFMEA and control plan execution, and kaizen-driven upgrades across manufacturing cells.

The candidate should hold a Mechanical engineering degree (BE/BTech/ME) and possess Six Sigma and QC tools knowledge to drive implementation and sustained improvements within TPM and 5S initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in machine shop.
• BE/BTech in Mechanical or related field.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and QC tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve OEE of machines.
• Consolidate and analyze rejection and rework.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CP/ PFMEA) and control plans.
• Drive process improvements to upgrade quality and processes.
• Maintain and upgrade fixtures; manage TPM activities and 5S culture.

Various machining processes including machining of castings.Functioning of latest CNC machine tools.Programming of Fanuc, Siemens, mazatrol controls.

Solving day to day issues for achieving production/quality targets.

Process up gradation in terms of quality products and improvement in overall system.

Consolidation and analysis of rejection and rework.

Quality assurance techniques or procedure for production.Monitoring and improving OEE of machines.

Evaluation of CP and CPK of machines PFMEA and control plan, Kaizen and poka-yoke.

Effective implementation of corrective and preventive action by Error Proofing and Process controls.

Monitoring and improving cutting tools life.Maintenance, up-gradation, setup change of Fixtures.TPM activities, 5S culture etc
