Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks an EHS professional to advance health, safety, and environmental programs at our Gurugram site. The role focuses on policy development, regulatory compliance, and proactive safety leadership.

Key duties include audits, investigations, training, and environmental program oversight, with collaboration across facilities, operations, and contractors. This on-site position entails 48 weekly hours and active engagement in sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in line with local, state, and national regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, incidents, and regulatory filings.
• Oversee environmental programs including waste management, energy conservation, water usage, and pollution control.
• Monitor environmental compliance and ensure adherence to environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
• Support green building initiatives and certifications (LEED, BREEAM, etc.).
• Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct safety inductions, emergency response drills, fire safety training, and toolbox talks.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through awareness campaigns and continuous engagement.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including fire safety, evacuation procedures, and crisis management protocols.
• Coordinate with local emergency services and ensure readiness of emergency equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and industry best practices.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports, permits, and documentation as required.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and third-party agencies during inspections and audits.
• Work closely with facility management, operations, contractors, and tenants to promote safety and environmental standards.
• Provide expert guidance and support to leadership on EHS matters.
