Job summary

Accor in Delhi is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead floor teams and ensure outstanding guest room cleanliness and safety standards.

You will supervise staff, coordinate housekeeping operations, manage guest supplies, and report to the Executive Housekeeper. Proficiency in English and at least 1 year of relevant experience are required, with knowledge of local languages a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management.
• Good oral proficiency in English language.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and daily briefing at floor level.
• Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, and pantries according to standards.
• Replenish guest supplies and promptly attend to requests.
• Attend to reports on damage or malfunctions in rooms and maintain equipment.
• Maintain floor reports and conduct regular room checklists.
• Report unusual behavior to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Maintain high personal appearance and hygiene; participate in trainings.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

Operation

• Conduct daily briefings with staff at floor level. Manage and supervise all tasks of his/her team
• Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, guest room balconies, guest corridors, linen rooms and housekeeping pantries according to standards and procedures set
• Supervise public areas
• Replenish guest supplies and ensure that guests requests are promptly attended to
• Attend to reports on damage or malfunction in hotel rooms
• Maintain equipment in proper state of cleanliness
• Maintain a section floor report
• Conduct regular room checklists
• Report unusual behavior/activities on floors to Executive Housekeeper
• Record room status in allocated section accurately
• Assist Executive Housekeeper in assessing team members’ attendance and performance
• Other Responsibilities
• Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
• Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by the Management
• Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships
