Coats in Madurai, India is seeking an Assistant Manager - FP&A to manage standard cost revision, costing accuracy, and BOM/Routing in SAP. You will engage with manufacturing and supply chain to ensure books reflect physical stock and margins.

The role requires CMA/CA with at least 2 years costing experience, SAP CO and SAP BI familiarity, and strong analytical and communication skills. You will drive automation and provide value-added insights through dashboards.

Responsabilidades

• Manage standard cost revision and costing accuracy
• Ensure BOM and routing in SAP are correct in collaboration with manufacturing and supply chain
• Discuss margin movements with Commercial and provide cost analysis
• Own end-to-end stock reconciliation (physical vs books)
• Perform month-end inventory valuation per standard policies
• Support audits (statutory, tax, cost) and drive automation/value insights (Power BI)

Job Title - Assistant Manager - FP&A

Location: Madurai, India

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:

Manage Standard cost revision and maintain accurate costing , Engage with IED and manufacturing and Supply Chain for correctness of BOM & Routing in SAP, Discuss with Commercial on margin movements and analysis, Own End to End stock reconciliation (Physical vs Books), Perform Inventory valuation at month ends as per standard policies, Audit support – Statutory, Tax & Cost audit, Drive forward opportunities for automation and providing value added insights in specific areas as identified from time to time in Costing & FP&A (Eg., Power BI Dashboard, Costing Reckoners).

Key Relationships:

Internal- Commercial, IED, Manufacturing, Supply Chain

External- Auditors, Statutory, Internal, and Cost

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

Essential-

• Qualified CMA/CA
• Thorough understanding of costing principles with minimum of 2 years experience in costing function in a large manufacturing concern.
• Familiarity with SAP (including CO module) and SAP BI needed.
• Strong Analytical skills.
• Good Interpersonal skills.
• Good Written and Oral communication is required.
