Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus India Pvt. Ltd. in Pune invites an experienced SAP FICO specialist to join the Group Accounting Team on a permanent basis. You will support and enhance SAP FI/CO, ensure IFRS and HGB compliant accounting, and drive finance transformations.

The role requires hands-on SAP customization, S/4HANA experience, and strong analytical abilities. Fluent English is essential; German knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Very good SAP knowledge in the FI and CO modules.
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, controlling or SAP finance.
• Very good knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and HGB.
• Experience in SAP customizing and in the SAP S/4HANA environment is an advantage.
• In-depth understanding of closing, consolidation and valuation processes.
• Very good analytical skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working.
• High level of initiative, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting and enhancing SAP FI/CO modules, ensuring accurate financial and controlling processes in compliance with IFRS and HGB standards.
• Analyze business requirements, implement solutions, and support SAP S/4HANA rollouts, migrations, testing, and transformation projects.
• Collaborate with finance teams, auditors, and IT stakeholders to optimize end-to-end record-to-report processes and provide expert SAP FICO guidance.
• Support the interface for the SAP modules FI and CO.
• Analysis, conception and implementation of requirements in the field of finance and accounting.
• Ensuring the correct mapping of accounting matters in accordance with IFRS and HGB in the SAP system.
• Collaboration in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Execution of error analyses, process reviews and system tests.
• Support for SAP rollouts, migrations and transformation projects (SAP S/4HANA).
• Optimization and standardization of end-to-end processes in the record-to-report environment.
• Definition and implementation of account assignment, valuation and closing processes.
• Expert advice to the finance organization on SAP-relevant accounting and controlling topics.
• Close cooperation with auditors, specialist departments and internal and external IT service providers.
• Creation of technical concepts, training documents and documentation.

Your Tasks –

• CA, CMA, CPA, MBA (Finance)
• Successfully completed studies in business administration, business informatics, economics or a comparable qualification
• Very good SAP knowledge in the FI and CO modules
• Several years of professional experience in the field of financial accounting, controlling or SAP finance
• Very good knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and HGB
• Experience in SAP customizing and in the SAP S/4HANA environment is an advantage
• In-depth understanding of closing, consolidation and valuation processes
• Experience in finance and transformation projects
• Very good analytical skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• High level of initiative, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Very good written and spoken English; Knowledge of German is a plus
