Levi Strauss & Co. in India seeks a Manager, Finance Technologies to lead SAP FICO design and deployment within the FICO IT team. You will own end-to-end delivery, align with global templates, and partner with finance and IT to enable efficient financial processes across markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design, architecture, and configuration of SAP FICO aligned to LS&Co.'s global template
• Drive strategic solutioning, including design decisions and scalable finance process frameworks
• Own and support data migration and conversion activities: migration strategy, data mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize transformation initiatives
• Lead end-to-end project delivery (design, build, test, deploy, stabilization)
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure integration across SAP modules (PTP, OTC)
• Drive process improvements and adoption of new system capabilities
• Facilitate workshops, solution validation sessions, and stakeholder alignment
• Support testing cycles (SIT/UAT) including test scenario design and issue resolution
• Lead change management, business cutover, and hyper-care support
• Develop process documentation, functional specifications, and training materials
• Manage escalations, risks, and ensure timely issue resolution
• Lead and mentor a medium-sized team, owning deliverables and team development

Summary of the role:

Manager, Finance Technologies, part of the FICO IT team within LS&Co.;s Corporate Functions IT, reporting to the Director, ERP Finance & Controlling, GCC Delivery Lead.

The team represents Finance in ERP initiatives and is responsible for S/4HANA implementations, global template rollouts, and ongoing enhancements to improve finance operations across markets. This role plays a key part in strategic solution design, finance transformation, and data migration activities across implementation programs.

About the Role-

This role requires a strong functional SAP FICO expert with hands‑on capability and strategic thinking to design, implement, and optimize finance solutions.

• Lead solution design, architecture, and configuration of SAP FICO aligned to LS&Co.;s global template
• Drive strategic solutioning, including design decisions, trade‑off analysis (pros/cons), and scalable finance process frameworks
• Own and support data migration and conversion activities including:
  • Migration strategy and planning
  • Data mapping (legacyS/4)
  • Data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize transformation initiatives
• Lead end-to-end project delivery (design, build, test, deploy, stabilization)
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure integration across SAP modules (PTP, OTC, etc.)

About You-

Education

Skills & Experience

Core SAP Expertise

• SAP FICO (15+ years) with strong hands‑on expertise in:
  • General Ledger (incl. Current GL, parallel ledgers, multi‑GAAP, multi‑currency)
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Asset Accounting / Banking
  • Controlling (CO modules)
• Experience in integration with PTP, OTC and other modules
• Strong exposure to interfaces (ALE/IDOC/PI-PO)

Strategic & Transformation Experience

• Proven experience in global template design and rollout across multi‑country environments
• Strong exposure to finance transformation programs and S/4HANA implementations
• Ability to drive high‑level solution design, process optimization, and future‑state architecture

Data Migration & Implementation

• Hands‑on experience with:
  • Data conversion strategy and execution
  • Data mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation
  • Migration tools/processes (e.g., Winshuttle preferred)
• Experience across implementation, enhancements, and production support

Additional Skills

• Basic ABAP understanding (debugging, reading code) good to have
• Exposure to reporting tools (BI HANA, Tableau)
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence

Leadership & Collaboration

• Experience managing small to medium‑sized teams
• Strong stakeholder management across global teams
• Ability to lead workshops, drive decisions, and influence outcomes
