The role focuses on leading financial reporting, accounting, and compliance for diverse clients, ensuring accurate month-end closure and coordinating audits with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a Chartered Accountant credential with 3–5 PQE, strong IGAAP knowledge, and proven leadership in client management and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounting records per applicable rules.

Assistant Manager -CA - Finance Controllership Professional Services Pune – 3+ PQE

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with 3–5 PQE and strong experience in Finance Controllership, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate is experienced in IGAAP, financial statement review, MIS, audit, taxation, and month-end closure, with strong client handling and leadership capabilities. Exposure to FDI clients, FEMA, Company Law, Transfer Pricing, and process improvement will be valuable.

Responsibilities

1. Ensuring accounting records are being prepared and reviewed in line with applicable rules and regulations.
2. Driving accurate monthly closure of books and timely submission of periodic MIS.
3. Ensuring financial statements, tax audit reports, and income tax calculations are meeting quality and compliance standards.
4. Coordinating with stakeholders for timely audit closure and effective regulatory adherence.
5. Strengthening client relationships through proactive engagement, communication, and periodic governance.
6. Fostering retention and growth across the assigned client portfolio.
7. Overseeing team management while supporting retention and professional development.
8. Managing revenue, cost, GP, and collections across the assigned portfolio.
9. Leading process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

1. Holding a Chartered Accountant qualification with 3+ PQE in Finance, Accounting, Controllership, or a related professional services environment.
2. Demonstrating strong expertise in IGAAP, with working knowledge of Transfer Pricing, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Company Law, and FEMA.
3. Possessing strong financial reporting, MIS, audit, accounting closure, and statutory compliance experience.
4. Having proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, along with Tally or other accounting software.
5. Demonstrating strong client handling, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Exposure to IFRS, US GAAP, and Ind AS will be an added advantage.
7. Bringing a quick-learning mindset with an inclination towards technology transformation and entrepreneurship.
