Job summary

BSR & Co in Bangalore is seeking a Finance Manager to lead end-to-end financial reporting and advisory engagements. The role requires deep knowledge of Indian GAAP, Ind AS, US GAAP and IFRS, with strong regulatory awareness and experience in M&A accounting and finance transformation.

You will guide teams, manage client relationships, ensure GAAP conversions, and support reporting for listings, while staying current on industry developments and delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Indian GAAP, Ind AS, US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Practical knowledge of finance function and financial reporting process.
• Regulatory reporting requirements experience.

Responsibilities

• End to end project management. Guiding the team on technical accounting and financial reporting matters, managing client relationships, and monitoring progress.
• Applying IGAAP/Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP or equivalents on engagements including GAAP conversions.
• Providing financial reporting support (technical and process) to clients.
• Assisting clients with financial reporting for listings.
• Demonstrating deep technical capabilities and willingness to assimilate new knowledge.
• Maintaining strong business acumen and awareness of industry developments.
• Working with stringent deadlines and delivering quality results.

Skills Required

JD for finance advisory:

• Sound technical knowledge and practical experience of Indian GAAP, Ind AS, US GAAP and/or IFRS
• Practical knowledge of finance function and financial reporting process
• Practical knowledge of the financial reporting compliance from a regulatory perspective
• Familiarity with Companies Act, SEBI and related regulatory requirements
• Possess strong domain knowledge, has strong accounting foundation skills
• Experience of financial reporting / accounting implications for M&A / group restructuring
• Experience of financial reporting and finance transformation projects would be an added advantage

Responsibility

End to end project management. Key activities include guiding the team on technical accounting / financial reporting matters, manage client relationships, monitor project progress and relevant operational / financial matters.

Application of IGAAP, Ind AS, IFRS and / or US GAAP or an equivalent GAAP on engagements - GAAP conversion and / or topical queries on technical accounting matters

Financial reporting support (technical as well process related) services to clients

Assist clients with respect to financial reporting requirements in connection with listing of securities

Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate new knowledge

Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge

Work with stringent deadlines and deliver effectively and efficiently
