Job summary

KPMG India is seeking a Sr. Analyst / Team Lead Non-qualified executive in Hyderabad to manage day-to-day accounting and month-end close processes. You will work under the Managed Services department, collaborating with the Associate Director and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include AR/invoicing, tax/GST compliance, vendor and employee expense processing, and audit coordination. A strong background in SAP and Excel/Power BI is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in finance or related field.
• 7–9 years of relevant experience.
• Strong month-close accounting knowledge.
• Expert SAP knowledge; exposure to Blackline.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Generate AR invoices, e-invoicing, sales orders, and GST/TDS inputs using SAP or relevant tools.
• Review vendor invoices and employee claims; ensure proper approvals.
• Prepare reconciliation schedules for debtors, creditors and bank statements.
• Coordinate with auditors and support monthly/yearly closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Recording day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Generating Accounts receivable invoices, e-invoicing, sales order, delivery challan etc. using Tally Prime.
• Accepting the vendor invoices and employee claims and acknowledging the same.
• Checking whether the expense is capital or revenue in nature and whether any other cost associated with capital expenditure is required to be capitalized along with the assets.
• Verifying the invoices/employee claims as per the process and getting the requisite approvals within Finance before capturing the entry in books.
• Routine book entries in accounting package after verifying the applicability of TDS and GST.
• Prepare employee claim and vendor payment advice as per agreed process.
• Prepare debtor/creditor/bank reconciliation
• Prepare TDS workings-monthly and TDS returns- quarterly basis.
• Prepare Amortization schedule of prepaid expenses.
• Filing of vouchers on a daily\weekly\monthly basis as agreed process.
• Prepare audit schedule and coordination with the auditors.
• Coordination with client for missing /incomplete information on a routine basis

Qualifications

• B. Com, M. Com, Inter CA (Any finance qualification)
• Minimum 7-9 years of relevant experience
• Subject matter expert with strong understanding of month close accounting
• Expert knowledge of SAP and other tools like Blackline etc.
• Must have good hands-on experience on Microsoft Excel/PPT/Power BI
• Requires a proactive approach and verbal / written communication.
• Should have strong interpersonal skill to interact with Management, Stakeholder, and peers effectively. 00A0
