Job summary

IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) is seeking an Assistant Manager – FRMS to support day‑to‑day Fatigue Risk Management activities, ensure regulatory compliance, validate fatigue reports promptly, and assist with trend analysis for safety assurance. The role aligns with DGCA expectations and internal FRM requirements.

The incumbent will manage data and documentation, coordinate with Flight Ops, OCC, and Safety teams, and contribute to continuous improvement of fatigue risk controls.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in Flight Operations, FRMS, SMS, or related functions
  • Graduate with formal education in Aviation, Safety Management, Human Factors preferred
  • Exposure to regulatory audits, compliance processes, or safety management systems

Responsibilities

  • Process, review, and validate fatigue reports per FRM procedures
  • Document validation of fatigue reports as required by regulator
  • Ensure timely, same-month closure of reports with traceability
  • Maintain FRM trackers, databases, and dashboards for analysis and audits
  • Conduct trend analysis to identify fatigue drivers and emerging risks
  • Prepare inputs and data for FSAG meetings, audits, and regulatory submissions
  • Support corrective/preventive plans related to FRM observations
  • Coordinate with Crew Tracking, Planning, OCC, and Flight Safety for inputs
  • Assist in policy updates, procedural refinements, and FRM documentation

The role is designed to strengthen regulatory compliance, enable timely validation of fatigue reports, and support trend analysis and safety assurance activities, in line with DGCA expectations and internal FRM requirements.

The role is designed to strengthen regulatory compliance, enable timely validation of fatigue reports, and support trend analysis and safety assurance activities, in line with DGCA expectations and internal FRM requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in Flight Operations, FRMS, SMS, Flight Safety, Crew Scheduling, or OCC-related functions
  • Graduate with formal education in Aviation, Safety Management, Human Factors, or a related discipline is preferred
  • Exposure to regulatory audits, compliance processes, or safety management systems
  • Experience in handling operational data, reports, and structured documentation
Skill Set
  • Strong analytical and data-handling skills
  • Proficient working and understanding of Microsoft Office applications
  • High attention to detail and documentation quality
  • Good understanding of flight operations and fatigue-related risks
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across Flight Ops, OCC
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Process-driven, structured, and able to manage multiple tasks within defined timelines
Job Responsibilities
