Job summary

Ipca in Silvassa is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Safety / EHS for our Pharma Formulation Manufacturing Unit (Unit - Piparia). You will lead the Environment, Health & Safety function and drive a strong safety culture across the manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of EHS experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing settings, with a Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Safety, or BSc/MSc with Diploma in Safety.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Safety.
  • Alternatively BSc/MSc with Diploma in Safety.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate EHS requirements.
  • Lead safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to enhance workplace safety.
  • Conduct safety training, emergency preparedness programs, and mock drills.
  • Foster a proactive safety culture across manufacturing operations.

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for an experienced Safety Assistant Manager to lead our Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) function and drive a strong safety culture within our Pharma (Manufacturing) operations.

Experience : 10+ years of relevant EHS experience in the Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing

Industry

Qualifications : Degree / Diploma in Engineering / Safety, B Sc / M Sc with Diploma in Safety.

Key Responsibilities
