Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Manager EHS to lead on-site safety for our North region. The role requires 8+ years of EHS experience, a Diploma or Engineering degree, and certifications such as NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely.

Strong communication in English and Hindi is essential. Responsibilities include reviewing HSE plans, conducting trainings, audits, and inspections, and ensuring vendor compliance with safety laws.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Engineering degree in a relevant field with safety certifications.
• Minimum 8 years of on-site EHS experience.
• Proficient in HSE planning, PTW systems, and JSA/HIRA/SWMS review.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve HSE Plans, Emergency & Evacuation Plans for contractors.
• Deliver task-based safety trainings for site leaders and workers.
• Conduct HRA audits and report corrective actions.
• Ensure BOCW Act 1998 compliance by vendors; implement PTW.
• Review JSA, HIRA, SWMS from vendors.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and issue corrective actions.
• Generate NCNs for major violations and long-pending non-compliances.
• Lead safety inductions for new employees.
• Assess HSE resources per contract; evaluate competency.
• Record Near Miss and First Aid incidents; perform RCA/CAPA; share reports.
• Promote strong safety culture and conduct regular safety meetings and site walk-throughs.
• Prepare EHS reports for clients and management.
