Position: Asst. Manager/ Deputy Manager-Procurement / Purchase Manager (Defence Industry)

Location: Nagpur
Experience: 6-10 Years
Industry Preference: Mandatory Defence Manufacturing / Defence Aerospace / Defence Equipment Industry

Mandatory Requirements
  • 6-10 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Purchase functions.
  • Must have worked in the Defence Industry.
  • Experience handling 100+ active vendors/suppliers independently.
  • Strong vendor development and vendor management experience.
  • Knowledge of defence procurement processes, compliance, and documentation.
  • Expertise in RFQ, RFP, tendering, negotiations, rate contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Experience in sourcing mechanical, electrical, electronics, fabricated, machining, and defence-grade components.
  • Strong cost optimization and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in supply chain coordination and inventory planning.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for defence projects.

  • Knowledge of SAP MM/Procurement ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of import procurement and supply chain management.
  • Immediate joiners or candidates serving up to 60 days notice preferred.
