Position Title

Assistant Manager Deputy Manager Plastic Vendor Upgradation

Responsibilities

Guiding Plastic parts vendors for improvement in Quality Systems, Manufacturing Process, Shop Floor improvements and P-D-C-A approach for overall improvement of vendor quality performance.

• Carry out system & process improvement at vendors in the following areas:
  • Quality System Improvement
  • Root Cause Analysis of Quality Defects
  • Identification of gap areas in Plastic parts manufacturing process & systems
  • Implement countermeasure actions & best practices
  • Process specific improvements for automotive plastic parts
  • Process/system upgradation based on AI/digital tools & techniques
• Review, Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor progress of actions
  • Timely reporting of concerns and prepare Management reports/presentations

Qualifications

• Degree in Plastic Technology / Plastic Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering from a reputed Institute (HBTI / CIPET / Plastic Engineering / other Tier-1 engineering colleges)
• Hands on Experience in any Automotive OEM / Plastic Automotive component industry in areas of Molding process, Plant layout, Process improvement, Supplier quality management
• Conversant with best practices of plastic and rubber parts manufacturing, development, storage, quality defect analysis, 5 why analysis, understanding of Engg drawing, Mould flow analysis
• Conversant with data analysis and representation in MS Excel, MS Power-point, Power BI
• Good Problem-solving skills, Good interpersonal & networking skills, Effective communication & presentation skills
