Job summary

Her Pursuit Chennai is seeking an experienced Production Planning and Customer Coordination professional to join our automotive operations in Chennai. You will coordinate with Tier1 suppliers and customers to align production schedules with demand, manage orders, and forecast needs.

This role requires hands-on production planning, control, and cross-functional leadership of customer support and shipping teams to ensure timely deliveries and optimal transport utilization.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be from Tier1 Automotive Company
• Experience handling customers in the passenger car segment
• Coordinate with customers for production requirements, order management, scheduling and forecasting

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers to meet production requirements, manage orders, schedule and forecast demand
• Production planning and control
• Schedule plant production according to customer demand
• Monitor day-to-day customer coverage
• Monitor stock levels of dunnages regularly
• Track customer hourly production and plan shipments to meet requirements
• Lead customer support and shipping teams
• Track transport requirements of outbound trucks and ensure optimal usage; obtain timely shipment acknowledgments

• Scheduling plant production as per customer demand.
• Monitoring customer coverage on day to day basis
• Monitoring of stock levels of dunnages on regular basis
• Monitoring customer hourly production & planning shipments to meet requirements
• Handling & leading customer support team and shipping team.
• To track transport requirements of outbound trucks and ensure optimal usage. Monitoring of tracking of shipments receipt at customer end and obtain acknowledgement on time.
