Role: Demand Planner

Designation: Assistant Manager

Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in Demand/Supply Planning role

Role Objective:

This position aims to ensure the business meets future demand, operating with optimal efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities as a Demand Planner include estimating future product demand and analyzing inventory flow to develop accurate forecasting models. Ultimately, the role collaborates with organizational leaders to ensure uninterrupted supply to consumers based on anticipated demand.

Kpis for the role includes:

• Driving forecasting and S&OP for the category.
• Ordering strategy and replenishment planning
• Ensuring high availability of products (both national & regional)
• Reduction in out of stock and control on problem inventory like overstocking, near expiry
• Event, Seasonal, festive and BAU stock planning
• Coordinating with cross functional departments to understand business need and execute the same
• Work with supply planning and warehouse team as per the business need
• Developing system and process for demand planning
• Joint business plan with vendors to understand their supply structure
• Analysing inventory level and working on distribution
• New region sales plan and replenishment
• Managing the inventory turnover
