You will partner with logistics, purchasing and marketing to align stock levels with promotions, campaigns and seasonal spikes, ensuring service levels and cost efficiency.

Job Description: Inventory & Demand Planner

Role Overview

We are looking for a sharp, data-driven Inventory & Demand Planner to master the balance between supply and demand. In this role, you won’t just count stock—you will optimise it. You will be the strategic link ensuring our FDCs have exactly what they need (neither too much nor too little) by analysing trends, streamlining operations, and collaborating across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Forecasting & Analytics

• Analyse & Predict: Dive deep into historical sales data and emerging market trends to build highly accurate demand forecasts.
• Risk Mitigation: Develop and execute proactive strategies to eliminate stockouts and aggressively minimise overstock risk.

Process Optimisation & Accuracy

• Drive Efficiency: Identify and implement industry best practices to boost overall inventory efficiency and data integrity.
• Streamline Workflows: Redesign and optimise inventory processes to drastically reduce stock discrepancies and ensure pinpoint accuracy.

Strategic Inventory Management

• Optimise FDCs: Continuously monitor and maintain optimal stock thresholds across all FDCs to seamlessly align with demand forecasts.
• Asset Health: Balance inventory turnover rates to keep capital fluid and warehousing efficient.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Operations Integration: Partner closely with logistics and delivery teams to ensure a frictionless, end-to-end supply chain loop.
• Commercial Alignment: Synchronise with the purchasing and marketing teams to align inventory levels with upcoming promotional campaigns and seasonal demand spikes.
