Job summary

PGP Glass Ltd. in Vadodara is seeking an Assistant Manager - Consolidation to lead monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation, prepare financial statements, disclosures and variance analysis for management and auditors, and drive improvements in reporting.

The role requires partnering with business units and subsidiaries, overseeing direct tax matters in India, including corporate income tax and transfer pricing, and managing audits.

Qualifications

• CA with 5–7 years post-qualification experience in consolidation, reporting, and direct taxation.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Indian corporate tax laws and transfer pricing.
• Proven track record in statutory audits, group consolidations and tax litigations.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/consolidation tools: SAP, HFM, Oracle.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Consolidation & Reporting: Prepare consolidated financial statements, disclosures, and variance analysis for management and auditors.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation, ensuring compliance with Ind AS and group reporting timelines.
• Partner with business units and subsidiaries accounts teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting.
• Drive automation, system enhancements, and process improvements in consolidation and reporting.
• Support statutory audit, internal audit, and group audit processes.
• Direct Tax: Oversee all direct tax matters for India, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing.
• Manage compliance with income tax laws, tax filings, advance tax computations, and timely assessments.
• Lead tax planning initiatives to optimize effective tax rate and cash flows, aligned with business strategies.
• Handle tax audits, assessments, litigation, and interface with tax authorities.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assess impact, and implement required changes.
• Liaise with external advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders on tax-related matters.

• Hands-on experience with ERP/Consolidation tools (SAP, HFM, Oracle, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
