Job summary

Adani Group, via Adani Solar, seeks a Shift Engineer for PECVD cell maintenance to oversee the operation and maintenance of PECVD equipment during shifts, ensuring production efficiency and equipment availability.

You will optimize deposition parameters, implement CAPA, supervise technicians, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, document process parameters and outputs, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve yield and reliability.

Qualifications

• Min 2-5 years hands-on PECVD operations experience in the solar manufacturing industry.
• Experience in process optimization and equipment maintenance is required.
• Familiarity with safety standards and CAPA practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain PECVD systems to ensure optimal performance and reliable deposition processes.
• Address and resolve PECVD equipment breakdowns swiftly, analyze issues to prevent future failures.
• Optimize PECVD parameters (gas flow, temperature, pressure) for high-quality thin films and better solar cell efficiency.
• Implement CAPA plans for major breakdowns and preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Conduct inspections to verify film thickness and uniformity, ensuring quality and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during PECVD operations.
• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, equipment maintenance, and production outputs.

Job Purpose:

The Job purpose for the role of Shift Engineer - PECVD in cell maintenance is overseeing the operation and maintenance of PECVD equipment during shifts, ensuring production efficiency, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining high standards of equipment performance and Equipment Availability.

PECVD Machine Management And Operation

• Operate and maintain PECVD systems to ensure optimal performance and reliable deposition processes.

Breakdown Response and Troubleshooting

• Address and resolve PECVD equipment breakdowns swiftly, analyze issues to prevent future failures.

Process Optimization

• Optimize PECVD parameters (gas flow rates, temperature, pressure) to achieve uniform and high-quality thin films, improving solar cell efficiency.

Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)

• Implement CAPA plans for major breakdowns, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures to enhance equipment reliability.

Quality Control

• Conduct inspections to verify thin film thickness, uniformity, and adherence, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Safety And Compliance

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during PECVD operations to maintain a safe work environment.

Documentation And Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, equipment maintenance, and production outputs and daily check sheet.

Team Leadership And Training

• Lead and support a team of technicians or operators, providing guidance, training, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the diffusion area.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:
