Job summary

Adani Solar is seeking a Shift Engineer - Cluster - Printing to supervise the printing process and operators on the shop floor, ensuring safe, on-time production as per the plan.

The role includes training operators, deploying staff, creating SOPs, and managing equipment movement per SOPs and work instructions. BE/B.Tech in relevant engineering with 2–5 years in semiconductor or solar manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical engineering.
• Desired BE/B.Tech
• Min 2-5 years in semiconductor or solar manufacturing, with experience in printing and equipment operation or PCB manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shift operations adhere to safety regulations and standards; enforce protocols and conduct safety checks.
• Monitor and manage throughput to maximize production efficiency and meet targets.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, and Poka Yoke; oversee daily checks and machine readiness per SOPs.
• Lead quality control initiatives; monitor product quality and drive improvements.
• Collect production data, analyze trends, and prepare MIS reports for management insights.
• Train and manage operators and promote safe practices on the shop floor.

Job Purpose

The Shift Engineer - Cluster - Printing ensures overall supervision of printing process and machine operators that includes operators training, operators deployment, making SOPs, work instructions, check lists for machine, process flow and production, hence to ensure a successful & safe operation in the shop floor as per production plan. The senior engineer also responsible for maintaining, controlling equipment and material movement within the operating scope and as per work instructions / standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure shift operations adhere to safety regulations and standards by enforcing protocols, conducting safety checks, providing training, and addressing any safety or compliance issues promptly.

Production Management

• Monitor and manage throughput to maximize production efficiency and ensure that the rate of production meets or exceeds established targets

Ims

• Implement 5S, Kaizen, and Poka Yoke for safety, oversee daily checks and machine readiness as per SOPs.

Quality Assurance And Improvement

• Lead QCC, cost reduction projects for operational enhancements, monitor product quality adherence to specifications.

Documentation And Reporting

• Collect production data, analyze trends, and prepare MIS reports for management insights.

Training And Management

• Train and manage operators and promote safe practices on the shop floor.
