Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited in Pune seeks an Assistant Manager-Capital Purchase to drive supplier selection, price settlements, and AMC/rate contracts. You will oversee procurement of machinery spares, cutting tools, IT spares, services, and capital equipment, ensuring quality and on-time delivery while coordinating the capital budget.

The role requires 4–8 years of relevant experience and a BE/B.Tech degree, with strong skills in cost control, negotiation, and supplier risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology/Engineering required.
• 4–8 years' experience in procurement, capital purchases or strategic sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Vendor selection and commercial discussions for capital purchases.
• Price settlement and contract finalisation (AMC, rate contracts).
• Ensure timely delivery and quality of machinery spares, cutting tools, IT spares, services and capital equipment.
• Coordinate capital budget and ensure timely utilisation; develop alternate sources for cost savings.

Finalisation of AMC and Rate contract. Ensuring quality and timely delivery of material. Developing alternate sources for cost saving & timely delivery. Asset disposal co-ordination & documentation. Capital Budget co-ordination and ensuring timely utilisation of Budget. Benchmarking of Technology and commodity prices in Industry. Ensuring process adherence in purchasing.
