Job summary

Maharshi Group in India seeks an experienced Automation Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of automation initiatives across engineering, operations, and maintenance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of automation engineering or related experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of automation systems including PLCs, SCADA, robotics, and control systems.
• Previous project management or leadership roles demonstrating ability to lead teams and drive results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills with strategic and analytical thinking.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in automation and manufacturing.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership qualities such as accountability, adaptability, and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing automation projects from inception to completion.
• Assist in defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure alignment and effective project execution.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
• Assist in managing project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners to procure necessary equipment, materials, and services for automation projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project implementation process.
• Lead and mentor team members, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation processes, systems, and workflows.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including project plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Support the Manager in stakeholder communication, reporting, and presentations on project status and achievements.

Requirements
