Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for an Asst. Manager - Compliance and Operations to own the end-to-end workflow for Category III AIFs.

The role requires deep knowledge of SEBI AIF Regulations, fund documents, and tax considerations, with a strong focus on accuracy, dashboards, and reporting.

Qualifications

• CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification.
• 35 years of relevant experience in AIF/PMS/Mutual Funds or compliance.
• Working knowledge of SEBI AIF Regulations, Companies Act, and taxation aspects relevant to AIFs.
• Ability to comprehend financial reports
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel
• Attention to detail is a MUST
• Strong written and verbal communication skills will be an added advantage in this role

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ownership of the operational workflow of Category III AIF.
• Review exposure, drawdowns, investor commitments against fund docs and regulatory limits.
• Conduct pre- and post-trade compliance checks; ensure transactions stay within limits.
• Assist in drafting and updating internal compliance checklists, SOPs, and dashboards.
• Assist in regulatory reporting filings including SEBI AIF and RBI/FEMA where applicable.
• Monitor SEBI AIF Regulations and investment guidelines compliance.
• Validate accruals, expenses, performance and management fee computations.
• Support audits and inspections by providing required data and explanations.
• Coordinate NAV computation with fund administrator and review valuations and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of fund transactions.
• Support investor queries related to statements, tax workings, and performance.
• Prepare financial statements, investor reports, and quarterly performance reports.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and tax filings

Role & responsibilities

Asst. Manager - Compliance and Operations will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of operational workflow of Category III AIF to cover

the following deliverables:

• Periodically review exposure, drawdowns, and investor commitments against fund documents and regulatory limits.
• Conduct pre- and post-trade compliance checks (investment concentration limits, sector restrictions, leverage, etc.). Ensure transactions are within regulatory and fund-specific boundaries.
• Assist in drafting and updating internal compliance checklists, SOPs, and dashboards.
• Assist in preparation and filing of regulatory reports including SEBI AIF reports (monthly/quarterly), RBI/FEMA filings if applicable.
• Monitor compliance with SEBI AIF Regulations, PPM (Private Placement Memorandum), and internal investment guidelines.
• Validate accruals, expenses, performance fees and management fee computations as per PPM and agreements.
• Support audits and inspections (SEBI, statutory, internal) by providing required data and explanations.
• Coordinate daily/periodic NAV computation with fund administrator; review trial balance, valuations, and reconciliation reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of fund transactions.
• Support investor queries related to capital statements, tax workings, and portfolio performance.
• Prepare financial statements, investor reports, and quarterly performance reports.
• Work closely with auditors for annual audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification.
2. 35 years of relevant experience in AIF/PMS/Mutual Funds or compliance.
3. Working knowledge of SEBI AIF Regulations, Companies Act, and taxation aspects relevant to AIFs.
4. Ability to comprehend financial reports
