Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.

• Strong knowledge of Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct time studies, method studies, and work measurement to establish standard operating times.
• Develop and maintain manpower norms based on production requirements and process capabilities.
• Perform line balancing to optimize workload distribution across workstations.
• Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities, bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and manufacturing performance indicators.
• Plan production capacities and evaluate resource requirements for current and future volumes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and Six Sigma.
• Drive waste reduction in motion, waiting time, transportation, inventory, defects and overprocessing.
• Prepare plant layouts and workstation designs to optimize material flow and space utilization.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and implement improvements for operator safety and productivity.
• Support new model introductions by defining process flows, manpower requirements, and cycle times.
